The Dump Fund

Today our class is participating in a fund raiser for families that live in an actual dump in Honduras. Daily they dig through other people's trash to find enough for themselves and their families to eat. They do not have homes, they do not take baths, they do not have cars.....they live in a dump!

You can go to www.treymorgan.net and see the details. Our class raised $8 and is going to try and bring more tomorrow. We ask you to join us in the effort to raise money to feed these people. We want to help and we hope you do to.

  2. Dear Class, This morning my wife and a few other people are already putting together more than 300 bologna sandwiches for the people that live and work at the Tegucigalpa Honduras dump. I usually go too but I am in the USA for a couple of days to speak to people about our work. I want all of you to know that your donation to feeding people is a great thing. You helped people that have nothing - they will now be able to have a little bit to eat. We feed the people every Wednesday throughout the year so, on Wednesdays, you can say a little prayer and ask that the people that you helped are taken care of.
Thank you so much and keep on caring!

  3. Dear class, I hope one day you get to meet some of the people you have helped by giving your money to the Dump People. Can you even imagine what it is like to not have ANY food except what you find in people's trash?

I am writing a series of children's books and I am going to write one of them based on what you have done. It's going to be all about how a class of children helped feed the Dump People in Honduras.

Well done guys! You are awesome
