Remember those old tape recorders that your elementary teacher would use to record your reading or to play stories from books? Well, step into the 21st century with our class!
Students are now using iPods to listen to recorded books. The 8th grade Advanced Technology class came to the elementary campus to work with the 3rd grade GT students to train them on how to record the books. The students used the Garage Band application to record their reading. They then shared the recording with iTunes and synced it to an iPod.
We now have as many books as we can read recorded for other students. Our GT students have been working with othe
rs to teach them how to record the books. It has been so exciting in our classroom with all this technology.
